Salt Lake City Utah Things To Do
I have lived in Salt Lake City since 2009 and have compiled a list of what I consider to be the best and greatest things to do in Utah. Hopefully you have your next getaway to Utah planned around you, and since I'm doing high school here for a few days, I've decided to put together my top 20 things to do this winter in and around Salt Lake City. I have compiled this list for you, as I am sure there are many good and great things you can do with your family, friends or just for yourself while you are there.
Be sure to visit Timpanogos and look for the best hiking trails in Salt Lake City and other parts of Utah. Check out the SaltLake City Trail, as well as some of the other great trails in town, such as the Red River Trail and Utah Trail.
Head to Great Salt Lake State Park for a day of hiking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities in the park's scenic surroundings.
Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, just blocks from the Utah State Capitol, the Utah Museum of Fine Arts boasts a wonderful collection of artwork. There is also the Utah Folk Art Museum, which offers free admission and shows what the surrounding region has to offer in terms of folk art, music, dance and other arts and crafts.
On the border to the snow-covered Wasatch Range there is no shortage of hiking, skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and other outdoor activities. Salt Lake City experiences all four seasons, so there are plenty of ways to keep teenagers in Salt Lake City and inspire them to do more. There are a variety of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes, hotels, restaurants and more nearby, making it one of the most popular destinations in the state of Utah.
One of the best ways to play in Salt Lake City is to attend an NBA game with the Utah Jazz, and it's a great way to escape the hustle and bustle of Utah's capital city. Another great thing for kids in the Salt Lake City is to attend one of their favorite sports events, such as the Utah State University Jazz basketball game. Salt Lake City, Utah is home to the largest basketball stadium in the United States, the Jazz Center.
If you're looking for things in Salt Lake City that you don't technically do, go to Midway. This mountain town is little more than an off-earth Park City, but it is home to twelve Utah ski resorts, all just a few blocks from downtown. The lake is accessible from a State Park located on the east side of the lake, just off Interstate 15, about a half-hour drive from downtown.

The Salt Lake Temple is an iconic symbol of the city, and the best thing to see in SaltLake City is the area around this beautiful place. Temple Square is one of Utah's most popular tourist attractions and is located in the most beautiful area of the city. It houses the Utah State Capitol and a number of other historic buildings and landmarks.
