My girlfriend was really interested in this place because she loves dark mole. Luckily two was the lucky number because we got seated right away while two large groups in front of us had to wait. Being that it was new years day and we had just been driving from Minnesota, we were quite dehydrated, and ordered a lot of water (in addition to food). We asked for a pitcher of water thinking that we would be drinking it faster than they could replenish our glasses. We were wrong. They brought a pitcher of water, and were waiting on our table so frequently that we water would not have been an issue.
With our order they brought out the rice and beans before, and not a single person (except for me) walked out of there empty handed. Most people can not eat a full entree.
Mole was great, so was the special (mango something)
Pros: food
Cons: busy
id rather eat dog food

if you like real mexican food avoid this joint. its ok for natives here who dont know any better but if you r from a place with authentic mexican food you will really be heart broken if you eat here. avoid at all cost and thier prices should be illegal so expensive you need a loan officer there to take a date.
Pros: none
Cons: to crowded, overpriced
we really, really liked it

oh this place is good, very good. sure there may be a waiting line, but it's because the food is excellent. this is one of the best places serving food in slc. it does though of course have it's imperfections mainly because of the location and building, but the food is absolutely excellent.
Pros: authentic food, not typical
Cons: there may be a waiting line
