I am originally from California and part hispanic...so needless to say I have high standards when it comes to Mexican food... This place was AMAZING. There were a ton of people waiting for a table but it only took about 10mins to get seated. Our waitress was great, always there when you needed her but never when you didnt. I ordered a margarita which was STRONG, i enjoyed that lol. They did mess up the order a bit but as soon as i mentioned it our waitress got it fixed. After that a manager stopped by to check on us and I was justvery impressed. And for those of you who dont know The Red Iguana was on an episode of DIners, Drives and Dives on the Food Network. Even the prices here are great. I will go back there any day
Offensive Service, not for families! Reviewed by Lee13 on

We went there this past weekend for my birthday. I had been looking forward to trying Red Iguana after hearing all the great stuff about it. However, when we walked in with 4 out of 5 members of our party (my brother, who is chronically late for everything wasn't there yet) the 'hostess' told us to wait outside (in the sun at noon - 93 degree weather) until my brother showed up.
I have a 3 year old daughter who was very hungry and rather than sit outside in the hot sun (no shade, direct sun), we opted to go elsewhere.
I find this treatment of customers to be offensive and nothing less than rude. Their food may be good but I won't give my business to a company that treats its customers in such a way.

Moles are out of this world.
Pros: Hard Core Mexican
Cons: Might be too much for light duty Mexican fans
